About this course
The aim of RSA course is to provide candidates with a working knowledge and understanding of the relevant state or territory liquor legislation and industry codes and the ramifications of non compliance for the enterprise and individual staff members.

At the end of this course candidates will be able to:
  • Define standard drinks and understand their strengths
  • understand the effects of alcohol on the community and individuals
  • recognise the signs of intoxication of customers
  • detail strategies and exhibit skills in the prevention and detection of minors on licensed premises
  • prevent underage drinking
  • detail strategies and exhibit skills in the effective prevention or control of intoxication, or potentially violent or offensive behaviour customers
  • demonstrate an understanding of the methods employed in training to improve customer service and comprehension of the new focus on alcohol service
  • improve internal communication skills to enhance control and
  • Monitoring for improved focus on customers welfare and improve communication with patrons in order to competently advise options available

Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for SITHFA009A - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol and a Liquor Licensing Victoria "Responsible Service of Alcohol" certificate.
